ALL of the public and military, community and school, libraries I've
been a patron of use the Dewey System. In all cases it has been my
experience to locate "Mark Twain" novels classified as "Clemens"
novels in 813, all American fiction being arranged alphabetically by
author.

Flyleaves are usually noted to indicate pseudonym or nom de plume (pen
name) of "Twain" and others.
Biographies in Dewey 82 are arranged by the name of the subject not
the author or title. e.g., All Lee biographies can be found on the
same shelf in alphabetical sequence by author.
