You are dreaming or have a dittohead's usual disregard for accuracy.
Airamerica did not bounce any checks, "Multicultural Radio Broadcasting"
the guys they were leasing airtime from attempted to double-book time on
their LA station and to put the squeeze on AirAmerica and subsequently lost
in court. The bounced check story was a lie, but you Rush fans are regular
consumers of those so it probably does not make any difference to you. Most
news sources retracted that part of the story the day after it broke but
why should that stop you from repeating it?
The part of the article that you chose not to quote was interesting too:
The preliminary arbitron ratings for the NY market April show Franken
having chumped Rush despite being on a smaller, less powerful station.
They are now up to 15 stations. They have broken records for the number of
people listening to their web streams in the areas they do not yet have
stations. They started primarily with Public Service Announcements which
have almost entirely been replaced by regular sponsors. I have heard ads
for large pharmecuetical companies and companies like Xerox, McDonald's and
other restaurant chains.
In the Twin Cities AirAmerica just moved to a larger station with a more
powerful transmitter. Their audience share is certainly growing faster
than Rush's; according to Clear Channel execs Franken's ratings on KPOJ
tripled last month, this would seem to indicate an increase in sustained
interest not just people tuning in because they heard about the network
being launched.
