I know this isn't an original thought, but I've never seen it asked of
This Old House.
In all the time it's been enticing viewers, and for as popular as the
show is, why haven't they devoted a segment (or two) reviewing some of
the projects Norm and the crew have completed over the years?
The program is, after all, a showcase for new materials and
construction techniques, so why not verify it with an occasional look
back to see how they stand (stood) the test of time? Makes sense
doesn't it?
I for one would love to see first-hand how all the big talk and tough
work had proven itself out beyond the tea party conclusions, and I
don't any need proof to know that such episodes would be an absolute
hit with its devoted audience!
I also think Kevin is the ideal host to interview the past project
homeowners too -- if Morash (or his handlers) ever get around to
letting him do it.
Who knows, maybe my wishful thinking will help to inspire it once and
for all?
