No I'm not related numbnuts, but you do a great job of
making yourself look foolish. I just happen to be a
veteran fan of the show. It's one of the few left on
television that isn't vile, insulting or offensive.
However, even the contemporary TOH has its moments.
I think Kevin is a marvelous choice. He's a good guy
that people really respond to. You can't fake that. In
the second episode of his debut, he's already proving
himself right for the job and liked by Norm and Tom.
He has an natural way of keeping your attention and
seems to have an inspiring penchant for touching the
things described during guest tours. I like that,
because it adds a human value to the presentation.
...Like the good old days when everybody got muddy
hauling cement around on rainy New England mornings,
and the camera never left the site.
Kevin augments what others say too. He doesn't talk
over them like Steve did, and rehearsed or not, people
are always more comfortable with a man they can trust.
However, maybe articulate Nordic men with rosey cheeks
and a moral code piss you off? Perhaps you'd prefer a
cue-card reading SPOOK, a lesbian, or another useless
jew like the one that replaced Roger Swain?
Well, better luck next time. -- BOO!
