Kings, my wonderful, dear sweet, sweet soul.
How are you, honey? I adore your insights and wonderful knowledge of
BM (bowel movement) matters regarding the Brady Bunch television
show. You are my knight in shining Armour - the absolutely king of
kings. You put the col in my colitis!
Unfortunately, as is the case so often, a cruel hoax was played on
you. You were watching a syndicated version of the Brady's again, and
not the network version. Critical pieces were left out, and sadly the
true message of this episode was lost. Yes, indeed Sherwood was very
actively working on introducing BM (bowel movement) themes into the
show.
In the network version, Don and Sam take Bobby and Thindy out to
Trader Vics, and they order an authentic pu pu (Polynesian appetizers)
platter. After they order, little Bobby excuses himself to go to the
restroom (he tells they he needs to have a BM (bowel movement) before
the appetizers arrive. That little trickster Bobby actually grabs the
waitress before she sends in the order, and he changes it to a poo poo
(childish name for BM's (bowel movements)) platter. The waitress
giggled, and said she would LOVE to play along with Bobby's little
prank.
About 8 minutes later, a sizzling platter complete with one of them
little fire things is delivered to the table. The Poo Poo's (childish
name for BM's (bowel movements)) have all been shaped like pu pu's
(Polynesian appetizers). Don and Sam grab them up, and gobble them
down. The look on their face was absolutely priceless when they found
out they were eating Poo Poo's (childish name for BM's (bowel
movements)), and not pu pu's (Polynesian appetizers)! Bobby laughed
so hard he lost control of his bowels, and had an enormous BM (bowel
movement) right at the table. Don and Sam then laughed their head
off. In the end, they noticed Thindy was the only one without BM
(bowel movement) all over themselves, and they throw the rest of the
plate at her. Everyone then wets their pants laughing!
Kings - I do so hope you remember this lost clip. It has been a long
time since it was shown on the network version.
I love you and Derek so much, but not in a Senator Larry Craig trying
to claim he is now innocent of having queer (gay)(homosexual) sex in a
men's bathroom kind of way.
