Persoanl;ly brady bowels have no interest, but the nice wholesome
CLEAN innnocenc eof the show does.
(Granted the Bunch MIGHT do something like this, cf.the 1990s movies
with a lesbian friend ("Noreen") of Marcia---but unlike Paramount I
doubt that Don Fedderson, the late producer of "Family Affair' and "My
3 Sons", would at ALL allow this)
Speaking of the above, it's notable that My 3 Sons,. Family Affiar,
and Screen Gems Columbia's Donna Reed, Father knows Best, and Dennis
Mitchell and some others and Universal MCA Kayro-Vue's Beaver Cleaver
(no beaver porno jokes now) (though BC and DMDID have
uber-micheifmakers as protagnists) didn't go the same overslapstick
route as Brady (or share the same pseudo-Technicolor-ful post-B&W
sitcom world).
Family Affair deiniftely would NOT have a lesbian joke in a
retro-movie a la the recent Shelley Long Brady films directed by Betty
Thomas (Private Parts with Howard Stern, also from Paramount).
I wonder how a My Three Sons movie would be done, hopefully more true
to the original but today there's no doubt it'll recieve the Brady
movie treeatment-which works well for the Bunch but not for the sons.)
