I was having a conversation with a friend last night about how to stop
(men) rapists and paedophiles from repeating their crimes.
He was saying that he thinks they should be castrated.
Well, acutally, he was saying that they should have an option. Either
they could serve their prison sentence, or being castrated (just the
inactivation, not the removal of the gonads). If they chose the
latter option then they would have the nessesary therapy available to
them.
I thought this was an interesting point.
I was wondering what other people thought about this.
(And if you think this should be in another thread then I can do
that...).
