klaatu:
when one's beginning unicycling, turns are hard;
seems like barrels would be good practice
(and of course, a way to show off, if one's good)
i'm not good enough yet to show off,
so for me it'd be just practice.

>I think it would be fun to snowboard

>THey are building a fake slope where I live so maybe I can try it.
klaatu:
would love to try it.
i hear sky-boarding is cool too.
there was a guy who did some adverts on one,
swooping all about in the air at 12,000 feet;
figure-eights, tail-spins ...
he was inventing new things all the time,
but he hammered in, one day, so that's that.
advantage of skyboarding;
nobody leaves ruts,
so everybody gets the same ride;
disadvantage: too expensive,
and one spends so much time getting there.
it's not really much more dangerous than snow-boarding, tho.
if they build a fake slope near you, and use fake snow,
you have advantage of a good surface all the time.
are they going to do it *soon*?
