My thoughts regarding the WAH statement are that the last paragraph
was an unnecessary inclusion. It is obviously, to me, just a symbolic
expression of black humor, but even if one were not to take it
literally, as they of the WAH, it really just serves more to be offensive
than challenging.
The connotation here tends towards the representation of
Surrealism coming before the freedom to convene and express
opinion, which theWAH-People should have, even if the result is a
lame misrepresentational and boring Art event.
The WAH-Event is unimportant and therefore barely worth my
second thoughts; however, I don't think they are immune to
being challenged on the merit of their ideas or representation
(which is paltry and dilettante - who really takes them very seriously,
anyway?).
Not that I or anyone else need answer to Keith Wigdor, regarding
the "International Surrealist" event in Ohio: I don't know any of the
details myself. As far as I can tell it looks just like an art exhibit and
see no evidence of anyone whoring out their artwork, atleast not on
the Sea Lion page which I've looked at.
That's surrealy all I had to say.
