I'll keep tabs on the redkool aid. You just keep on keepin' on up
there and I
may end up never having to return to Roanoke. Told my Dad I might get
up
that way as soon as I clear out some stuff down here. Wanted to see
that
greenhouse he was talkin' about

I do owe ya one for that. Thanks. If we get up, I'm buyin'
diner next trip to D.C. We know it takes effort and time,
which is what's in such short supply for some reason, but your
thoughtfulness would have every bit as much appreciated

don't know
No news much here, except I told the boss I should get a bonus for
suggesting a basketball hoop installed in the parking lot (kinda like
lookin' for a donut shop
when ya need a cop). she suggested it might work except we'd have
big-time complaints (and probably
grievances) over what color lines to paint or whether Wilson'or
Spaulding or
Rawlings makes the best baskeball. She misses the whole point.
Eventually we
could get back to recess in the morning and a longer one each
afternoon and
use them to punish the talkers, whiners, or other shirkers. "No recess
this
morning for you, that's gonna cosst you a week of afternoon
gym." Sorta resonates for me. We got no visionaries left around here
is the
problem

simon said the Barbecue Cookbook was for me and I
think I might be able to weld together something like the author made.
It's
the best explanation I've ever read for keeping meat tender. I've
spent a
lot of time trying to deduce the perfect approach for chicken, pork,
etc.
The book is a real breakthrough and comes from a different direction
than I
was leanin'. I might even try barbecued fish of something like it if I
can
get up to the Great Lakes and learn the fishing spots there.
