I captured the video I used a proggy called fraps
http://www.fraps.com/download.php
the demo version allows you to record 30 seconds of uncompressed video-
recorded 5 slices using the hotkeys (just run the clip twice). Its
intended for use by gamers - but use it then lose it - it tends to be a
resource hog
just stitch it all together with TMPGEnc....
http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/index.html - you can get a free version
saved it as compressed mpeg2 shot it off with xnews.
Alternatively try http://screenmaster.miroxia.net/
which is freeware .....but the setup requires another download from
microsoft. (15Mb in total)
Part of my work is creating training material - and screen capture is one
of the methods - so I had all the gear...... it took less than 10 minutes
with all the downloading and stitching - it'll take you most of the night
I should have mailed a split zip - then you could have asked for the bits
that were missing
My isp is pretty poor at delivering multiparts also - I had about three
missing ... but no-one complained yesterday so I thought it must be OK..
I don't mind sending it again as a zip - if it's easier for you - let me
know
I could use "by request" in the subject line .......lol
I imagine that reposting will have some of the oldsters hopping ;-)
