Many shareware programs leave 'turd' files and/or
registry entries to stop you from reinstalling. Sometimes
the registry entry(s) are encrypted so searching for the
name of the program and/or author will not reveal the
correct entry. For example, UltraEdit v10 uses the reg keys
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{348c52d0-9b93-11d3-b9e7-0050041c8ef1}
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IDM Computer Solutions\UltraEdit
to tell if one has a pirated serial. The first key bears to identity to
the program or author whereas the second one does.
