I don't feel threatened by any such thing. I was irritated by his
continual attempts to put words into my mouth and to steer the discussion
in ways that would make his same single point over and over...the one
about file sharing being stealing. His stance as the arbiter of
everyone's morals and his heavy handed accusations of everyone he has
been talking to of being thieves and amoral is what I found onerous.
And, speaking of putting words in my mouth....I never said I did not find

Are you really so challenged as to consider a quote from a character in a
comedic movie (Robin Williams in Popeye, actually) as a significant
insult? Sorry, if I were seriously insulting the man I would have used
my own words, not those of a cartoon character.

I'm not sure where you get all that from other than the fact that you
apparently feel somehow threatened here. If you don't like my demeanor
then by all means don't read or reply to my posts. Or, do as you
already have and post insults toward me, the exact same thing you are
hypocritically calling me on the carpet for doing, by the way.
I really don't give a shit either way. Maybe that's what you find
threatening?
If you want to reply to my posts and have some sort of intelligent
discussion, argument or exchange of ideas, then have at it, I'd be glad
to exchange ideas with you. That's what this is all about, isn't it?

Another misguided attempt to characterize me as a right wing nutcase. If
you would have read the thread and digested it at all you might find that
one of the things I've been accused of here is taking the "left wing" or
"liberal" position. You guys can't have it both ways, you know.
I was making a point, one about which I feel strongly. The person I was
speaking to had repeatedly tried to sway the discussion using all manner
of tactics except one...coming up with any more original ideas. Like I
said, if you don't like that, then don't read my posts. If you disagree
with the points I am making then by all means offer an alternate
viewpoint, if you have one. If you can't do that and all you can do is
play the fool by trying to insult me by comparing me to two of the most
successful, wealthy and arguably powerful Republicans in the country
today...well, you are seriously missing the target old boy and you need
to just chill out.
