I installed CDex 1.51 yesterday.
The issue:
I cannot hear any audio. The track seems to be playing as the minutes
count on screen. Autograbber seems to work but not CDex
System Information:
-------------
CDex version :1.51
OS Version :Windows XP (Version 5.1 build 2600 Service Pack 1)
Aspi Manager :Adaptec; Adaptec's ASPI Layer 4.70
>
Detailed drive info Ha:01 Id: 00 Lun:00
Device Name: "_NEC DVD+RW ND-5100A "
Drive does not support MMC
----------------------------------------
I have tried all the tweaks as suggested by CDex Help.
What kind of CD-ROM settings do you use (Read Sectors and Read
Overlap)? Read Sector: 26 Read Overlap: Grayed out
Did you try the Auto Detect function yet? Yes and I selected one that
said " Pass"
Which encoder you have selected? I tried both Lame and Windows WMA
encoder
---------------------------------------
Obviously being a Dell product there is no support, neither is there
any
support at the NEC site because it is an OEM product.
Wise People, I am seeking some solutions:
1. " Does not support MMC" - Can somebody help by telling me what that
means? How can I get around it?
2. Where can I find information about DVD+RWs and MMC?
3. How can I convert .wma files created using WMP9.0 to .wav so that I
can fade them out?
Helpless, NewRipper
