Hi group!,
My name is Ray and I have a question about a particular Christmas
song. You see my mother has a tape of Xmas songs taped off the radio
about 20 years ago and I was listening to it the other day and I heard
this song that caught my ears. It was a cover of "God Rest Ye Merry
Gentlemen" and it sounded like it was done by the pop group The Fifth
Demension. How can I explain this song? Well, it had a beautiful
harmony, a kicking vibraphone, and the bassline sounded simalar to
Dave Burbeck's "Take Five". Anyone know what I'm talking about? Was it
the 5th Demension who did this song or was it someone else?
