I may be in the wrong group for Christmas music, but the only one I
found deals with Christmas sounds, and not lyrics.
When my brother and I were in elementary school, a christmas song came
out about a white dog named Snowball. It came out in the late 60's to
early 70's.
Two children, a boy and a girl were way too excited about what Santa was
going to bring them for Christmas, to pay any attention to their dog,
Snowball. He became upset and ran away from home.
The children became upset themselves about loosing thier pet and began
to cry, and then decided all they wanted for Christmas was for Santa to
bring their dog Snowball home.
I believe Santa found Snowball on the side of the street, and brought
him back home on Christmas Eve.
I seem to remember it being sung by a few children, or possibly a
children chorus. The following is sort of what I remember as the last
stanza of the song.
cone. Was a merry merry Christmas after all. Santa brung Snowball home.
Was a merry merry Christmas after all Santa brung Snowball home.
