-- Blues singer Sonny Terry recorded a song in 1962 called 'Bad
Luck' (aka 'Bad Luck Blues'). I'm not particularly familiar with him,
though I did transcribe a song of his awhile back for another poster.
The lyrics you've provided are plausible for his style. The song was
included on his 1963 album 'Sonny is King'. Wasn't able to find
lyrics or a clip on the internet to confirm. However, I was able to
find a 30 second audio clip of the song at the following link:
http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/1035503/a/Sonny+Is+King.htm
It's track #9.
Hope that helps
