Piece of cake -:)
Step 1. List the MP-3 directory to a text file. Write in a DOS window: dir
C:\searchpath....\*.mp3 /b /s >> C:\path\my_mp3.txt
All your MP-3 files will now be listed with the complete searchpath in a
textfile my_mp3.txt
Step 2. Start EXCEL and open your textfile from EXCEL. A dialog window pops
up. Klick Delimited and Next.
In the next pop-up: Under Delimiters klick other and type a backslash \ in
the window. Klick Next and then klick Finish.
Step 3. Under Tools, use the Filter -> Auto filter function.
Now if you want to simplify the procedure, write a batch file to execute the
DOS-command and associate the batch file with an icon Also make an
EXCEL-macro to do the EXCEL-job and associate the macro to a button on one
of the toolbars. You will then be able to make the list by klicking on one
icon and klick one button in EXCEL.
Good luck!!
