AUSSIE heart-throb Jason Donovan has revealed he plans a return to his
award-winning music career after he finishes his latest stage role.

The star of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, at Bromley's Churchill Theatre
from March 6 to 11, Donovan said he was ready to revive his music career
when his stint playing the Demon Barber Fleet Street ends.

He told the Bromley Times: "I've been putting some music together which is
ready to be put out there.

"I'm not deluded that I'm going to storm the charts. I'm going to keep it
very simple at this stage and see how things go, but I would like to get out
in the world of popular music again."

The former Neighbours star, who sold over 13 million records in the 1980s,
visited Paul's Gents barbers in East Street, Bromley, on Tuesday to promote
the multi-award winning musical.
