No, you won't get sued for downloading anything.  You run the risk of
getting sued when you share music -- when you let others upload it from
your computer.  That's especially true if you use the FastTrack network
(Kazaa and other clients), which seems to be what the RIAA is most
concerned about at the moment.

If you just want to download and not mess around with peer-2-peer, I'd
suggest checking out USENET binary groups -- you can find just about
anything you want, eventually, including lots of audiobooks.
