Freddie's Rolls for sale on eBay

12/10/2005 - 12:38:07

Freddie Mercury's silver Rolls-Royce is being auctioned on eBay by the late
Queen star's sister.

Unusually, the car comes with a Kleenex Mansize Tissues box containing the
rock legend's unused tissues.

As the flamboyant singer always kept a box in the car, his sister Kash could
not bring herself to remove them when she was given the Rolls-Royce.

The 1974 model, which has a grey leather interior with wood trim, contains a
car phone and a radio cassette player.

The car's last public appearance was in May 2002, at the London premiere of
the Queen musical We Will Rock You - when it transported Mercury's family to
the Dominion Theatre in London's West End.

It has been in occasional use since the lead singer and main songwriter of
Queen died in 1991, at the age of 45, from an Aids-related condition.
