Claiming to improve security and usability, Soundclick.com
has recently introduced its own online mp3 player based on
Macromedia's Flash.
In addition to showing artist and song info / image, the new
player also includes links to the Soundclick genre charts
for that particular song, along with links allowing listeners
to add the song to their own 'station' playlist or share it
with friends via email.
I'm finding it is also a little quicker than my (current) default
media player (Windows Media) - on 'my' computer it is taking
5 secs to fire up and start playing a song on their new player
as opposed to 10 secs on my default player.
I would be interested to know whether others are finding
the same.
