Thanks so much for your posting. I just passed the info on to my
friend, but he thinks the version he heard was done by a male
vocalist, not by a group. Still, you have probably identified the
song title. That helps.
My friend has the song containing the words 'bicycle built for two' on
a cassette tape he made from radio back in the sixty's. Problem is,
the tape has dried out and become brittle over the years, and breaks
if he tries to play it now. This makes it impossible for him to check
the exact lyrics. He's operating from memory, and he suffered a
stroke a few years back, so that makes it even more difficuly for him
to remember clearly.
Hmm, The Cyrkle. I remember 'Red Rubber Ball' well.
