Actually it turns out that Flip may not be an "RIAA Sockpuppet" after all.
Look at his e-mail addy, and then check-out the website where he gets his
e-mail.

Can you say Apple Macintosh?
That should make you think of Apple iMusic.......
Which means he is a vested-interest "sockpuppet", for sure!
Of course it should not be too hard to understand that the RIAA Agenda
will
be in the best interest of Apple iMusic, EH!
The IP Robber Barons, and their employees, all want you to either buy the
CDs or else download "legal" MP3s files (for only $1.95 each!) for your
personal use. But you must not SHARE them...... or the RIAA will get you.
HINT: Multiply the number of tracks burned on an audio CD by $1.95. Are
they cutting you any slack, or are you still going to be paying $25+ for the
equivalent content of an audio CD? Plus, you will then have to use your
computer to record the MP3s you have bought onto a CD, which you will also
have to pay for!
Personally, I think the correct Free Market price for a downloadable MP3
file should be 50 cents. That would, in turn, translate to about a $6.00
price for an audio CD purchased at a local music shop.
I realize that the prices I quoted is only an honest business mark-up, and
it certainly is not the 500% to 2000% mark-up as demanded by the hog-greedy
IP Robber Barons, but it is all I intend to pay!
Memo for Flip: I get my CDs for $5.00 (and DVDs for $7.50) at the local
USED media stores in my town, and will continue to do so until the IP Robber
Baron mentality, and their hog-greedy actions, are finally stopped. My
purchases this year so far amount to 50 DVDs & 75 CDs, with a direct loss to
their producers of around 3 thousand dollars (since I no longer buy New
items).
This is, of course, a REAL LOSS .... as opposed to your make-believe loss
which you claim occurs when someone shares a MP3 file.
Pleasant dreams.....
