A couple of weeks ago I was watching a dial-in request music channel on
satellite here in the UK when an all-girl foursome that I hadn't seen
before came on.

There were at least a couple of blondes, good-looking, long-haired
including one gorgeous and
they wore elegant clothes to sing primarily in one room a quite gentle
pop song or ballad, moving to soloist to soloist as one or more moved
around the room.

I imagine they were British but I am not sure; I could not find them in
the UK Top 40 when I looked and I'm pretty sure they weren't on Top of
the Pops or anything like that (although these may have changed in the
last week or so)

Can anyone put a name to them for me please? Any ideas?

Many thanks
