How Musicians Can Soon Eliminate CD Manufacturing Co$t$
FROM: The B# Newsletter
_______________________________________________
Today, marks the beginning of more proactive news content
that will be covered and addressed in The B# Newsletter.
One of our two news items is titled, "ASCAP Increases
Royalty Payments," of which ASCAP members should be
fairly pleased with the current increases.
But, *ALL* recording artists should be particularly interested
in the second news item in the newsletter which is titled,
"CDs Quickly Nearing End of Their Run."
This is because this particular news shows artists how they
will soon be able to not only reduce their overall promotion
costs by, at least, 50%-75% and, possibly, as much as
80%-90% in certain situations, but most importantly, artists
will also be able to completely eliminate their manufacturing
costs.
In fact, the surprising response that is being shown by music
fans and buyers embracing the purchase of downloads
versus purchasing music from offline retailers, is probably
going to drive this aspect of the industry much faster than
has been predicted.

* * * How would YOU like to never need to purchase one
of those $1,500/1,000 CD packages again, eliminating
the majority of your costs, while instantly increasing your
profit margin by as much as 75%-90%? Not bad, eh? * * *

The industry is "playing it safe" by putting a 10-year ceiling
on online buyers accounting for the majority of music sales.
But I am of the opinion that, with the further and continued
advancement of online technology, combined with the ease
of acquiring music from home, work or elsewhere, this
transformation will actually occur within half that time frame,
if not sooner.
As you can imagine, this is *NOT* good news for record
labels, distributors, retailers and especially manufacturers,
but it is an independent recording artist's paradise.
So, by all means, be sure to read this edition of the newsletter
by signing up at http://yahoogroups.com/group/BSharpNews
then clicking on Message #124 (dated 02-21-05) and posted
at 7:33 a.m.
In advance, thank you for your time and support.
