Modular presents
As one of the UK's most respected and original jazz saxophonists, Don
Rendell honed his skills working with the very best British jazz
musicians since the 1950s, including the influential John Dankworth
Septet. He then went on to form a critically acclaimed quintet with the
great trumpeter Ian Carr. Don, now leading his own quartet for this
special Modular performance, plays tenor in the manner of other great
jazz musicians - that is to say his improvisation is unpredictable
but always satisfying!
