Please could someone give me any information on a song that used to
be played on The Late Lounge on Jazz FM,
I stumbled upon the Late Lounge some 7 mths after it first started
when Clare Anderson was presenting it, so that gives you some idea
how long ago this was.
Because the song is instrumental there are no lyrics but I have
discovered they have used voice overs from the film "Body Heat".
After about half way through there is a male and female having the
folowing conversation (with a small amount of echo applied)...
Male: You can stand here with me if you want, but you'll have
to agree not to talk about the heat.
Female: I'm a married woman.
Male: Meaning what?
Female: Meaning I'm not looking for company.
Male: Then you should have said---"I'm a happily married woman."
Female: That's my business.
Male: What?
Female: How happy I am.
Male: And how happy is that?
etc..
I realise it would be easier if this track had lyrics but as I said
it's an instrumental. I have tried to attach a 'sound clip' but
attachments appear to be blocked. If you have no objections to me
posting you a copy of this clip I would be grateful if you would
contact me at "s.oneill<NOSPAM>@breathemail.net" (please
remove <NOSPAM> and quotation marks "").
Please can someone identify this song (from the limited info I have
available to me) and if possible can tell me: artist, title and album
I can find it on.
I am guessing (stress guessing) it might be on the Cafe Del Mar series
but I really don't know. All I know is that it is chill-out and
definitely was late-lounge material.
I have contacted Jazz FM / Rosie Kendrick (who used to produce the
show but now presents it since Clair left) but to no avail. Neither
her or her team can recognise it (even with the sound clip).
Please can anyone help and if I am asking in the wrong group please
point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Steve
