Originally I was targeting a Hard Drive player due to the capacity you got
for the price, but one of my main uses for a player would be sports, such as
skiing and hiking. Based on a previous post and the feedback I received, I
became aware of the risk to the hard drive jarring it at the wrong time.
I would still like to have capacity, so have been checking out the 1 GB
Flash Memory models. I would like a player that supports playlist,
folders, playing just a particular folder, drag and drop, at least 192 bit
rates, has a replaceable battery and uses USB 2.0.
Which company usually has the better product - iRiver or Nomad? Any
thoughts on the iRiver iFP-899 vs Nomad Muvo 2 X-Trainer? Are there others
I should consider?
