Hi Suzanne,
It seems like you're getting mistaken. When you see something like
"don't-email-me-please.com" that means that the person to whom this
e-mail address belongs is fake. In other words, to prevent yourself from
getting spammed, you just have to change your mail address to something
that doesn't exist so that when the spam bots crawl the net grabbing new
addresses, yours is no part of the lot.
However, people won't be able to mail you directly.
If you *do* want people to be able to mail you without you being
spammed, then, just use a tricky address, such as:
suzanne@foni.No.Spam.net
This way it'll become obvious to newsgroup readers that this is not your
real address. Then, to contact you directly they just have to remove the
".No.Spam" part after the @ sign. ;)
Hope it helps :o)
