To shout is 'crier', and a shout is 'un cri'. Il y a aussi un mot populaire
'gueuler' for to shout, from 'gueule', the mouth and jaws of an animal.
'Gueule' is also used as a popular synonyme for 'visage', face, so "il a un
drole de gueule", he has a strange face.
