The improper use of "Nazi" in English isn't subtle, although its use in
Usenet might be considered slightly so. It's a demand by its user to be

Not being an American, perhaps you've never heard of the product "Hooked on
Phonics" (a/k/a, Hukd on Fonix).

I doubt it; the majority of big-8 posters are English speakers, so it's
reasonable to expect most of the spelling and grammatical errors to be
English errors..
