Where have you been Winona FAN ??? :) ---------- Two of Winona's new
films, Welcome (2007) and Last Word (2008) never made it to any theater
here in Las Vegas so I have to wait for the DVDs. ----- The Informers
(2008) is completed. ----- Water Pills (2008). The Private Lives of
Pippa Lee (2009), Stay Cool (2009) and Star Trek (2009) are all in post
production. ------ And Alpha Numeric (2010) is in pre-production.
-------------------- And it's great that I get to tell you what I did
last night. I finally went Blu-ray. ----- Last month "Beetlejuice" was
released on Blu-ray. ----- So when I was shopping at Fry's Electronics I
checked out the Blu-ray discs and the store had "Beetlejuice" for
$28,99, I grabbed a copy and then checked out the Blu-ray players and
picked out a Sony for $299. I then went back to the Blu-ray disc rack
and I found a real bargain "Edward Scissorhands" for just $13.99!!
------ I just hooked up the player an hour ago and am watching
"Beetlejuice" right now. ----- And the picture quality is fantastic,
compared to standard DVD, and it really has great stereo. ----- So it
was a great day for this Winona Ryder fan. :) ----- I first saw Winona
in "Beetlejuice" twenty years ago on August 16, 1988, so it's great that
20 years later the first movie I watch on Blu-ray is "Beetlejuice".
----- And to top it all off I just happened to be wearing one beautiful
image of our lady on my T-shirt last night. -----
