It's possible that whoever owns it registered the name(s) so that if Winona
wanted to get a website going she would have to pay them.
For a while (some still do), people would speculate on what website name
would be desired for a large corporation. These people would register
websites will all combinations using that name in the hopes that they could
charge an arm and a leg to sell the site.
Total speculation, but that's fun too, right?
