According to a website I visited it is the name her parents used to call
her when she was a child.
Watching the 'Making of Girl Interrupted' on the DVD you can hear the
Directore call her by that name just once. I was quite surprised to hear
it ryhmed with Stoney rather than Bonny (if you get what I mean).
