Solomon's Private File #423
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 34 in this story, in the Winter of 2060-2061.
Solomon's Private File #423 "Consortium Of Planets"
START Page
Consortium of Planets, unofficially called the Consorts by others. I
had a military escort, and they stayed with me in the room. I said, "I
am Solomon. Is it necessary for these others to be here?" He said, "For
my protection, yes." I said, "There are two problems with that. What
would you do to them were they to witness something you didn't want
others to know?" He said, "I would require them to not communicate
that." I said, "All of you are now reevaluating this situation." He
said, "Do you want them to leave?" I said, "It doesn't matter to me,
because of the other problem. I don't wish to cause anybody harm, but
if I did, they couldn't stop me. Just my Ki alone, were it not
confined, would cause them to not want to." He said, "I wondered about
that. By the way you move, I would have expected to feel some from you.
I think having witnesses in this situation isn't a bad thing." I said,
"You're a politician, and you're rational?" He laughed hard. The
soldiers tried not to.
We sat. I said, "I have a service to offer all your people. It costs
no money. It will actually save you some." I smiled. He said, "You knew
what I was thinking." I said, "Were you me, you would know." He
grinned, and said, True. Now I don't believe you're insane." I said, "I
offer to enable all your people to be healed. Yes, on all your planets.
Yes I can, and yes I'm very willing to demonstrate it. No, I wasn't
reading your mind, although I am perfectly able to." He said, "I
thought I was the most intelligent person on this planet." I said, "Who
doesn't think that?" He laughed, and said, "Of those measured. Yours?"
I said, "Immeasurable." He said, "Out of the range of our instruments?"
I said, "That, too. I said it more accurately." He said, "Brain
activity can be measured, therefore your intelligence isn't limited to
a physical brain. Do you actually need one?" I said, "I do not. Or a
can understand that. Or my wife would kill me." Chuckles.
He said, "How would you do this?" I said, "I would link all the minds
on a planet, and then ask God to do the healing, which He would do, and
hopefully not embarrass me in it." He said, "He talks in the healing?"
I said, "He can, and sometimes does. One time he corrected me to a
whole planet!" He said, "What was the correction?" I said, "Are you
really asking me to embarrass MYSELF?" He laughed. I said, "I was
unwilling to violate the privacy of some people who were misusing the
legal system in an issue related to a function of God. He demanded that
I provide the evidence." He said, "What was the evidence?" I said, "Who
the fathers were of some children. I can see all of the past, and
actually SEE DNA. The legal actions were paternity suits. Some women
were claiming I had fathered their babies, to seek compensation from
me. I am known to the public of that planet. God doesn't tolerate lies
about His Senior Agent. You have some belief issues. Proof isn't
difficult to obtain. Unintelligent women. I don't bother with physical
things. I don't have or use money." He said, "But you have a wife." I
said with a grin, "That's definitely not a bother, and I don't consider
her a thing." He grinned and nodded. I said, "My children were born
before I became as I am now."
He said, "Ah! That explains it." I said, "Really?" He said, "No,
actually. It's beyond me. How do we prove this?" I said, "As belief is
a desired goal, that would be enhanced if you devised the test
yourself." He said, "I'm not used to being outthought." I said, "Who
would be? I know the feeling better than anybody. My Boss is supremely
intelligent, having actually created it." He said, "He talks to you?" I
said, "Not nearly enough to explain the missions he sends me on. Wants
me to figure them out for myself. Yes, I can be annoyed, too." We felt
a touch of humor. I sighed, and said, "You know He likes that." He
said, "Wow!" I said, "Oh, back to sex again?" He laughed. I said, "One
consolation I have. He can't have sex!" More laughter.
He said, "Is there anyone here who has a medical problem?" I said,
"There is. You have a slightly strained elbow. You should not have
extended it fully in a punch." He said, "True. More?" I said, "Are you
sure you want me to say it in front of them?" He said, "Er, no. Other
people here?" I said, "Two have potentially serious microbiobial
illnesses, but are unaware of it. One has osteoarthritis in both knees.
Sports issues. NOT caused by what his friends say." He tried not to
laugh, and said, "I don't want to imagine that one." I said, "He's
feeling gratitude for your restraint." I said, "One bit his tongue
recently, and it has yet to fully heal. Some foods are just too
enticing." One tried not to laugh. I said, "I fully understand. I don't
need to eat, but that doesn't stop me." I said to the biter, "Now that
you can't have spicy foods, you might actually be able to taste some of
them." He said, "I've discovered that." I said to the chairman,
"Attitude can change a misfortune to a benefit." He nodded. I said,
"Had enough entertainment?"
He said, "It was more than that. You demonstrated some other truths,
which you intended." I said, "Did I ask you to be intelligent right
now?" He laughed, and so did some of the soldiers. He said, "Would you
do this healing for us in this room?" I said, "You know I will."
Captain said, "Sir, may I speak?" He nodded. Captain said to me, "A
visual injury would provide more proof." I said, "True. I wouldn't like
what you propose, but I won't stop you. Consider that I will feel what
He rolled up his sleeve, and took out a knife ands stabbed himself in
his arm. I said, "Do you remember where you last used that knife?" He
said, "Oh!" I said, "Best to be seated. It's a little distracting."
They did that. I said, "Ready?" I started the local love broadcast, and
God came in and did the healing. Then he introduced me as usual, and
said, "Solomon, you were correct, in that creation of children is
sacred to me. I do not support lies about Me, and My people!" He left.
I said, "Well, that was different. At least He didn't say it in a world
broadcast." I said, to the Chairman, "All out of wows?" He said, "I
think so. I'm free of pain." So were the others, and said so. The
stabbed arm was healed. I said, "And you are all free of pathogens." I
gave them the talk about what was healed, and why it needed to be
scheduled, and who would be doing it. Then I said to him, "The others
can't hear us now, and won't be aware of this time. My students have a
school in this galaxy. They choose their unusually qualified students,
who's identities should not be made public. Your support of that would
be helpful, in convincing the parents." He said, "You'll have it. After
the documents are prepared, you will know and take them?" I said, "Yes.
As I stop speaking now, they will become aware of us."
He noticed that, and said, "We'll schedule it here, and we'll give
you documents you can present to the leaders of our other worlds. Can I
assume you can deliver them faster than we can?" I said, "Yes you
should." He said, "You don't use space ships." I said, "Sometimes for
show. My way of traveling is different from all others. Not even my
students can do it as I do. When I no longer need a body where it is, I
destroy it. I create a body where I wish it to be." He said, "I had
assumed you could teleport." I said, "You were correct, but that won't
work directly between galaxies. Relativity issue. My way doesn't have
that limitation. I can also visit ships in FTL drive. Talk about
surprising people!" He grinned, and said, "I wish I could see that!" I
said, "It does help to convince them to not engage in interstellar war.
Well, the intelligent ones." Bigger grin.
He said, "Do you record those things?" I said, "Something like that,
yes." He said, "May we see one?" I said, "Alright. But first, some
information. I can assume any form. That's necessary to work
comfortably in different environments, and for another reason you'll
see. I'll convert the language." I projected the wolf intergalactic
action. They were all grins when it ended. I said, "Now you know
something about my feelings about politicians. And so do they, often."
Chuckles. I said, "No, you will never encounter those people. Different
dimension." He said, "Oh! That Senior Agent title is making more sense
now. I said, "I request that you keep this private. That would benefit,
you, too, in your credibility." He said, "I agree. What is the goal of
life?"
I said, "The goal of all life is to live. But that's not what you
wanted to hear. More?" He said, "Sentient life." I said, "The goal of
evolution. Sentient beings also have the biological goal of life, but
individuals have another goal, even if they don't know of it. That is
self improvement. Sentient beings exist to join God when they have
personally evolved to be able to do that. When they die, they are
judged as never dying souls. Those who have become advanced enough to
join Him, do. Others are usually reincarnated, to keep learning and
improving in each life, until they evolve for that goal to happen. Some
who are advanced in life can remember something of their past lives. I
remember all of mine. Some who can join with God, can ask to be
reincarnated so they can become teachers. My father was one of those.
He's with God now, and sometimes communicates with me." He said, "You
would join Him?" I said, "I am not able to die. He won't allow me to.
I'm needed among the living. I will join Him when time ends. Actually,
time will end because I join Him. Language doesn't express time
paradoxes well. Don't be concerned. That's billions of years away, but
to God, who sees all time as one, it's already happened. If you've got
knots in your mind now, it's not MY fault. You asked." Grins and awe.
I said, "I've caused a little issue. My students here didn't know
some of that. We talk mind to mind, and oh are they noisy now."
Laughter. He said, "You can make entire planets?" I said, "I did offer
that, so yes I can, but I didn't, and had no intention to do it for
them. They must learn to live within their own galaxy and it's
resources, or they will be a failed species, and will be allowed to
become extinct. My job isn't all fun and games. Natural selection is
the engine that runs evolution. I'm required to support it. No, I won't
make new planets for you. While that's easy, it interferes with the
dynamics of the galaxies they're in. Planets aren't any good in
isolation." He said, "Oh. Complexities. Can you see the future?" I
said, "Sometimes, some of it. The less I'm personally involved in it,
the more accurately I can see it. My decisions change it, and that
changes my decisions, and so on." He said, "I regret asking that."
Grins.
I said, "We all have our duties. We should be about them. How I leave
you can be something of an issue. If your staff doesn't see me walk
said, "Being responsible can be SO disappointing." Grins. I said, "But
Laughter. He said, "But you must be responsible." I said, "They're not
happy with you." Grins. He said, "They watch you?" I said, "We call it
monitoring. We are unable to lie or act unjustly, but we prefer not to
fully trust that, so we all watch each other on missions. And then
there's entertainment. They call it learning, but we know." More grins.
I said, "And we all love each other, so there's sharing that. I offer
my personal love to you now." They came to my hugs, and I walked out
without my recovering escort. When I was unobserved, I shifted out.
When he had the documents ready, I shifted to his office. We were
alone. He said, "You knew." I said, "I know all, as God knows." He
said, "I can talk to you any time." I said, "So can everybody else.
Most get the same answer that God would give." He grinned and said,
"Which is nothing; the implicit order to fix our own problems." I said,
"Exactly! Your intelligence is actually useful. Who knew?" Grins. He
said, "Are you doing broadcasts on other worlds?" I said, "I am, the
first time. Kahndrist Empire, for example." He said, "There's been a
change in leadership. Your causing?" I said, "I was there, but I didn't
directly cause the abdication or the choice of successor. I did Norse
first. I like their educational system. They'll be getting some
assistance in that. Use them, if you want the best of your people to be
the best." He said, "I went to school at the Institute. I agree. More
now, with what you said." I said, "Students for my school will be
selected after the first healing. Something to point to in recruiting."
He said, "Useful. You're doing this to help us to evolve." I said, "You
just had that thought? And you're supposed to be intelligent."
Chuckles. We hugged. I shifted out.
