I fondly remember growing up in a town obsessed with (American)
football, and in a neighborhood with no shortage of boys. Pile-ons
were not just commonplace, they were almost a routine - complete with
lots of "grabbing". Football was merely one excuse to have a pile-on,
but whenever a group of us boys got together, it didn't matter what we
were doing, a boy-pile was almost sure to occur.
