Hi Cosmos,
Thanks for your input too - and you are right, the one you resized was
great.
I have irfranview which will either compress or resize, but does not
appear to want to do both - at least, not without loss of quality.
Do you run a resize on images and then compress them or do you have a
prog that will do noth in one hit?
I have seen the prog Drogon suggested and will look at it later if I
have time today.
I can produce thumbnails, so have done that for resized reposts for
Drogon et al.
Help always appreciated
