Dear Friends,
Early this morning while exercising, I had a thought ... less a
revelation, I suppose, and more of an epiphany. Is it not so ... and
please tell me if you feel I am incorrect ... that a little boy passes
his fleeting youth in intuitive and complete acceptance of the
instrinsic value as being HIM ... irrespective of what others may
think or how they may denigrate him?
It is only later in adulthood, after the tinkerings of society have
finally rooted, that the child-now-man sees his worth defined not as
intrinsic and self-evident at all. He perceives and measures his
self-worth in the context of his place among others.
And, I suppose because I am getting old, I then thought of paradise
... if there is one ... and how it might appear and what type of
beings might inhabit it.
And now ... I think perhaps I know.
