No reason for worry. In our society, all would believe that Nigel has

as I said before, Nigel became a living charatcter by your tale.
So, I'll have to accept, that he simply rejected Ian's awkard (correct verb ?) "offer" of "friendship". So, that was that. (and any further investigation would give the molestor an importance, he does not deserve).
