P.S.: Don't rely on the X-No-Archive: header for protection. My view is that
it just lulls people into a false sense of complacency, thinking their posts
are gone, when they're not. There are any number of NNTP servers that ignore
this header entirely. It just makes it harder to search using Google's search
services; I need hardly remind you that Google is not the only search engine
out there.

Indeed, there are NNTP servers out there that keep posts in excess of 3
years. Furthermore, it would not surprise me if (certain law law-enforcement
agencies at least) ran their own servers for news aggregation/archiving
purposes.
