You're work with the Africa theme was fantastic and I, for one,
appreciate your contributions here. But I cannot for the sake of my
soul understand why such an incomprehensible and cruel tragedy such as
the massacre at Beslan should be relived by anyone. When I think of
that time, the first thing I recall is a mother of one of the children
crying out, "But why did they kill them? They were only innocents!"
I do not need further reminder as to the evil people in this world
often do. I am under no illusions as to the perfection of the boy ...
boys can be horrible and sadistic people, too, but at least it can be
said they haven't the dedication or wherewithall of adults to truly
perpetuate mass murder.
Please explain this fascination to me, if you would.
