Dearest Friends in Affection,
Although not of the best quality and, indeed
Perhaps some of the more primitive,
Here is a brief series of pictures taken
During the Soviet Era.
It is not the first time that I have
Noticed
That the quality of the photography,
When focusing on the subject of Boys,
Is quite rugged.
As if the artist had surreptitiously taken
Pictures
And then developed them in a
Hidden apartment darkroom
In Secret.
I wonder why?
