This is so true. I was into Social Work and Psychology before I quickly
burned-out in a few years time. We studied the Romans and the Greeks
about their sexuality and how they treated their children during my basic
training. They kept records. What you are saying is true. Even the French
and British kept records of how children - poor or rich, common or noble
- were treated as sex objects.
