In this rather quiet interlude, I should like to present a series of photographs
The subject of which has an interest both aesthetic and
Political ...
Most notably for my dear cousins across the Pond.
These images were taken, my dear cousins, on your very door step,
During the 1970's when Cuba remained more enigmatic than perhaps it is
To-day.
They are not the patient and skilled works of a master photographer
But rather the snap shots of a tourist
(Dare I even presume hailing from the Old Soviet State)
So you may find them rough and somewhat hastily composed
Or perhaps I should say "snapped."
As tourists are apt to do.
Nevertheless, given the uniqueness of the work,
They hold a value all their own.
