I must note now that not one, but two correspondents have commented on
my continuing fascination with Oliver. The first, in light jest,
proclaimed to me upon seeing Mondo posted here, that I at last had a
BROWN-eyed Oliver!
Of course it is true, true! I told him I find a boy's fawn-like brown
eyes deep and soulful and ... yes ... mysteriously beckoning. A
blue-eyed lad is a beautiful image, but a brown-eyed boy captures my
heart always.
My second correspondent, a very nice Frenchman, continued on his
observations regarding Oliver's identity and stated rather
emphatically that Oliver is French, "speaks current french and uses
terms that foreigners ignore." He does concede the lad has a dark,
Portuguese appearance, and in Agde2 plays with at least "two
Portuguese friends" and "says some Portuguese words." An immigrant,
perhaps? Perhaps adopted, as per my own comments regarding the
petting zoo. He continues by stating that in Summer Happiness
"During the bodypainting contest, the woman
this is the name of the first naturist center in France in
Montalivet. But, this could also be the name of Agde. Our boys with
indian paintings are holding message written in french, of course."
My friend also states that, upon review, the name Julien may have
actually been Oliver's older brother, and that Oliver himself was
perhaps Eric or Cedric, while in the video Sunday in the Country and
Summer Happiness "I can clearly hear some calling our Oliver "Edgar"
which is curious and not a frequent name."
Of course, the name of Edgar was identified in another video title as
Oliver's "little brother." He also states that by his observation,
Oliver has blue eyes ... "this beautiful blue colour."
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Doom, who has laboured
to post these wonderful films in that "other group."
So it goes, as the Late Sir Kurt Vonnegut would have said.
Cheers,
Victor Victorian
