Well, my notion of free will gives significantly more latitude. My notion
states that providing you aren't causing harm to someone else, then no steps
should be taken to restrict you. The Biblical definition, at least in the
Old Testament, basically sets out a very strict road map, says "follow it",
and then lists off the various ways you cause discomfort and death to those
who don't. At the very best, you have free will with strict instructions
not to practice it save in the narrowest of parameters, or you'll get it big
time.
