If he were in a grave, he might well be spinning in it. As it is he is
seated at the Father's right hand in majesty, awaiting until God the father
shall have made his foes his footstool.

I cannot speak for others. Maybe he feels he already gave you the gospel.
I'll give it one more time to be sure - Christ Jesus came into the world to
save sinners. He died in their place. No-one else was good enough, only the
very Son of God. By calling on him in repentance and trusting in his
sacrifice, you can be washed of your sins and made a new creature in the
eyes of God.
