I agree that there are many things lining up. Praise the Lord.
There is some evidence that the Scythians settled in the area we call
Russia, today. It is logical to assume that Russians have descended from
the Scythians. Josephus and some others provide a little evidence that
these people lived in the far North - where Russia is located.
