As far as I'm concerned, the core issue that matters is this: who do you
think Jesus Christ is?

affirm it?
That's the bottom line. You don't have to like George Bush to be a
Christian. A person needs to repent from their sins and trust, believe, and
accept the biblical Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Some issues are "essentials" and some are "non-essentials." Frankly, you
brought up some non-essentials and I don't want to "major on the minors."
